Her first performance on TV in a singing contest.. passed away same year as my mom did..3 yrs ago.. due to cancer...

My friend, Leslie, met her when he was with Yuming (Matsutoya) at the backstage of her HK concert, when Anita walked in, and congratulated her. She exclaimed that she was a big Yuming fan as well. Typical Leslie, he asked her about her other idols. She said she loved Momoe most, didn't mind Akina but when it came to Seiko, her comment was "I absolutely hate her" (in Cantonese "Zhui Zhang Huey").

I was surprised that she was involved with Masahiko Kondo at one point. As you know, I'm a big fan of Akina. I was extremely surprised by this news. Anita has at least two cover songs by Akina. These whole things are just too connected.
